About UEESA.org

The Union of European eSport Associations was founded in 2007 with the aim of gaining recognition for Electronic Sports (eSport) as an official sport as recognized by all National Governments and to provide a Governing body for eSports.

The constant improvement of eSport is essential to the organization and is another of its key aims.

The main aim of the UEESA is to form a federation for eSports and gain Government recognition, such as that of other sports, for example football. This would include having 1 Association rather than a number of small organizations. Ideally this would be like FIFA in Football, where there is only 1 league in each country, however this seems very doubtful due to the nature of eSports. Therefore, we would like to bring the whole European eSports Community into 1 Association, whilst helping to form a number of National Federations, with the objective of getting eSports recognized as an official sport in that country.

This would not only give eSports more recognition, but it would give power to those involved with eSports, bringing in more money from larger sponsors.
